Ilogik is a name that that at first sight bares no logical reference to anything, however over the last year it has become synonymous with hard dance music and anyone that has been to a hard dance event will have seen it alongside the biggest names in clubbing. The funny thing about this phenomena is that Ilogik has been spinning tunes since the early rave days playing happy hardcore at all the biggest events the UK had to offer, so he is no stranger to the limelight and performing in front of a crowd.
Although as a DJ Ilogik has only really started to shine over the last twelve months in the guise that we now know him, his production work has been speaking volumes in clubs all over the world for some years. He has produced anthems such as 'Insomniacs'; a huge hit (obviously) at one of the UK's biggest underground hard house events, Insomniacz. He has had further floor filling hits with 'Bounce One Time' and 'Streets of Pain' all of which have been licensed to compilation albums the world over.
From the success of tracks such as these and with people in the industry increasingly commenting on his quite unsurpassable talents, Ilogik launched his groundbreaking record labels, 'Elasticman’ and 'Logical Breaks'. These labels have already made an impact in places such as New Zealand, where Ilogik was asked to mix a covermount CD for a major selling dance publication, and also with labels such as Moonshine Records in America, who frequently use his productions to help push their multi-selling dance compilations across the States.
Ilogik can now be seen regularly at his main residencies Sundissential (Birmingham and Leeds), Insomniacz (Birmingham), Hotdog (Nottingham) and Bubblelove (Leicester) but has had guest appearances in the last few months @ Twisted (London), ROAR (Cardiff), The Temple Theatre (Dublin), Godskitchen (Leeds and Newcastle), Frantic (London) , Goodgreef (Manchester), Fevah (London), Tidy Weekender, Fantasy Island (Skegness) and Fierce (Nottingham).
These are just his UK gigs he has now begun his journey to dominate the world by playing in Japan and New Zealand and with plans already underway to play in Canada, South Africa and Australia it doesn't look like the journey will take too long.
