Andy Farley is a dance music icon. Over the past five years he’s risen to the pinnacle of the scene with his breathtaking skills and ability to pioneer new sounds.
Andy’s passionate drive and undying love for the harder edged sound have cemented his place in the hearts of clubbers. His reputation as one of the most professional, down to earth DJs on the circuit is reflected in his demand from the UK’s top clubs including Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Slinky, Passion, Cream and Tidy.
Internationally Andy’s popularity continues to soar, with dedicated followings in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Asia.
Andy is the master of a big crowd. He headlined the twenty five thousand capacity Impulz & 4 Elements event in Holland, and has played almost every high profile festival in Europe such as Global Gathering, Creamfields, and Dance Valley.
In 2004 Andy proved he’s not only at the top of the hard dance scene but a leading player within the world of dance. He was the only harder edged DJ to be to be voted into the top 10 in the 2004 Mixmag readers poll alongside international DJ superstars such as Tiesto, Carl Cox, Paul van Dyk and Eric Morillo.
In between club and tour commitments this year Andy is focusing his talents on studio productions, and his Blue Cubed record label. His own night Blue has received rave reviews and much respect from the entire dance music industry since it was launched at the mighty Turnmills in November 2004. Jon Carter, Trevor Rockcliffe, Rolando and Brenda Russell have all lined alongside Farley for what is now one of the UK’s most forward thinking events.
After tour of America, Canada, South America and Australia lined-up for the first part of the year, Andy debut’s alongside Marco Bailey at Scotland’s leading dance promotion Inside Out in April and will be headlining one of the southwest’s biggest summer festivals Run for The Sun in Newquay .
2005 brings a new level of demand for Andy Farley, with the UK’s biggest clubs each vying to be a part of his plans for the future. No longer confined to the limitations of hard dance the time has come for Andy Farley to stamp his authority on the worldwide dance scene – an artist not afraid to lead from the front and do things his way.
Paul Glazby is an unforgettable artist. Once seen and heard, there is very little that can deter you from forgetting who he is and what he is all about. And it’s no surprise; his sound is one so distinctive, that he is a successful artist in his own right.
His character and undoubtedly strong sense of being prove that behind the decks he is one mean machine – with vast knowledge technically and practically. He knows what he’s doing and exactly how to do it – a constant reminder of why he holds such a strong following within the scene.
Best known for his earth shattering, complex and enthralling production work, Mr. Glazby is one hell of a enthusiastic, hard working individual. Actions speak louder than words, and in this case, his music displays a force that so many have grown to love.
His track ‘Hostile’ will go down in the history books as being one of his most memorable tracks to date. Holding a 12th place in Mixmag’s top 20 tunes of the year (only one lower than ‘Satisfaction’ by Benni Benassi), this man has reason to be proud.
Both producing and DJing are his love and passion that is so obvious to see. Many of his tracks have gained him the deserved recognition so many work for, and with extra motivation, he has taken the journey down the path of creating his own label; Vicious Circle Recordings; one of the most respected and acknowledged companies over the years, and so it should be. It’s stable status, hard working concept and consistency when providing wholesome tracks has enabled Paul to earn respect of promoters, clubbers and artists alike.
‘Nightmare’, ‘Motherfu*ker’, ‘Here I come’; his work continues to show flare and creativity, enabling him to maintain the status recipients have come to love. It doesn’t stop here, a remixer, a performer, an all round entrepreneur. Nukleuz, Tripoli Trax to name a few – they love him.
Not only can he be proud of his work within the scene, but when being recognized on national radio, with ‘Dream’s’ reaching number 30 in the national charts, widespread play on Radio 1 and Kiss FM, there seems very little left to conquer – but this man’s not stopping just yet!
Constant motivation, communication and flare can get you far, and Paul Glazby is no exception. His unique sound, competitive edge, and eye for talent means that with no room for pessimism, a working day for this artist is a step further to the phenomenon that is Glazby.
